Just bought a 997 Turbo !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

As some of you may remember I was looking at getting rid of my 430 Spider and getting back into a 911. Well after driving both a gen 1 and a gen 2 I went for the Gen 2, I just thought there was a big difference between the cars.

Anyway got the car on Saturday and WOW! It is absolutely fantastic! very very very happy with it.

Thanks to everyone that answered all my questions over the past few months.

Interestingly I've been talking to Porsche about upgrading to a 997 Gen 2 Turbo, was also tempted to live the dream with the F430, so moving away from my current 997 C4S. I'd be interested why you've decided to get back into the Porsche.

Sorry for the delay been far too busy driving it to upload pictures

the car is Basalt black, with PDK, what an awesome gearbox. I drove a Carrera S with PDK when it first came out with the buttons and I wasn't that impressed to be honest, but I have to say the Paddles transform it.

Very nice, My 997 C2S is Basalt Black as well. Great colour when clean and polished, but is a bugger keep that way, worth the hassle tho! The alloys highlighted in black and the wheel centre set really set it off nicely. Sure you will be very happy with it.

Yes, the Gen 2 does seem mighty impressive - I'd watch the kerbs with those wheels though

Sat in a friends 997 turbo the other week,great car!,so much leg room,i am 6'5"and i had loads of head room etc,just great.
