Getting Stainless steel dash fitted

Hey guys, how's you. Anyway, due to a posting to Northern Ireland, can no longer afford to insure my chim as prices over here are unbelieveable!! Anyway getting my car ready for sale and as i have a crack in the veneer, getting it fixed before i sell. Have been quoted some fairly expensive prices to get it re- veneered, so decided i may as well get steel dash fitted as this is not liable to crack in a hurry. This a good idea or not?

Hmmmm....how much have you been quoted insurance wise ??
Im in N.I. and am insured thru AON for £400 !
