PH & MX5 Newbie

Hello all,

Been a lurker for quite a while on here and finally got the urge to sign up and say hello. So....hello!

Bought my Mk1 SE a few months back and have had a great laugh in it over the 'summer' getting the top down in between the rain showers (and a couple of times during!). Its a bit battered and high mileage but it serving its purpose as an introduction to roofless motoring.

Anyway, just thought I would say hi on here before I venture into the more scary parts of the forum

Oh yes, I am aware of the PH grammar/spelling police . However, with my typing I'm sure it wont be long until I make my first mistake!

Don't worry about PH grammar/spelling police - most of us aren't that anal (as I make quite a few posts via iPhone I make my fair share of mistakes). You've already made the biggest mistake of all though - WE NEED PICTURES!!!

I'm pretty thick-skinned so I can fend off the odd jibe if I get an apostrophe in the wrong place!

Anyway, you're right, I need pics. Strangely haven't got many but will post one up later when I get home.

Haha! That photo flatters it really. There are dings and scratches dotted around and the sill repair is not the best.

i've been lurking around here lately too having just purchased my first '5 last week
gotta say it has definitely been a fun week...surprisingly warm as well I've only driven it with the roof up once...it felt weird

it's a 1.8iS so is it not perhaps an optional extra from new?
