Does anybody actually like it?

Everytime I hear it, it just seems to be shouty chav crap interspersed with God-awful music. I can actually feel my IQ lowering as I'm listening to it.

(Sometimes I have no choice to listen to it as it is on at the health club - & sometimes on at the kebab shop on the way home from the health club.)

It does have its moments when I question how the hell such utter tripe, paid for by enforced means, is passed as broadcastable.

Usually at least once an hour.

Work have it on in the office.

I spend 12 hours per day - yes 12 hours.

7am til 7pm.

God awful ste.

I hate radio one.

I get them all Chris Fat Useless tt Moyles, with his "hilarious" sidekicks.

Some ex childrens tv presenter, all the way through to 7pm.

it goes on and on.

One of the worst bits about Radio one is when they do the news. fk off with your hip take on the news "Newsbeat"

No. Have not been subjected to it for years - thankfully.

6 Music on the computer in the office (missing Lauren Lavern though). A radio station with DJs that actually have a passion for music and have just about all been in their own bands.

I used to listen all the time at work but I just can't abide it most of the time now. I still listen to Chris Moyles but Fearne Cotton and Greg James between 10 and 4 are just awful. But, the worst thing about Radio 1 is the ste music they play at the moment and they repeat the same few songs over and over during the day.

Only really listen to Moyles on the way to work. Apart from that its Classic Fm or a CD for me in the car

The office radio was experiencing problems and it would only pick-up radio 1

I wanted it switched off due to my hatred of the fat morning idiot

i was told that it was better then nothing

They were someone what surprised at my assertion that nothing was far far better listening choice then the fat one

Definitely Radio 1 is shyte, especially the fat git Moyles. Pete Tong is good though. And yes, the hip newsbeat slots are demeaning.
