Hi All.
Well a customer has gone down the pan leaving me with a, shall we say, substantial debt.
This means that the M600 will have to wait.
I have to have another toy, so I'm very very tempted to buy another M12/M400.
Before I do, all I want from this car will be driving pleasure, feel and of course speed (before one of you suggests an MX5 or some such).
So what else should I test drive, has anything else come close for you guys? Let's say up to 40(ish)K.
Thanks people :-)

PS I'll keep the other cars so it does not need to be practical for the family or do anything other than be fun.
PPS Banned from motorbikes.

Really sorry to hear that, take it as a massive compliment that your company is solid and successful enough to swallow it.Give yourself a huge pat on the back.
If as you say the other cars are staying, then to try....
R500,
Atom 300,
M400,
Exige cup 260( very quick in the right hands)
Top spec Cobra
Shelby Superformance coupe ( my fave after the weekend at Dunton)but more than the others so depends how big the knock was!
Dax Rush Hayabusa Turbo a la Duncan Cowper style
Rover 75 V6 Connie S.E

a modified M12 !

If you can fit
try a Lotus Elise/Exige with supercharged Honda type R or a turbo Audi conversion.
You really must experience a drive in one to believe it, some of the mad ones are putting out over 400BHP!!
Maidstone sportscars have a demo car.
In a 800Kg (500BHP /tonne)car with a decent set up they have devastating pace and handling to match.

I had 5 companies go into receivership on me late last year, not nice at all, they werent massive debts as i offer a service only, but really depressing knowing i had just worked months for nothing, so i really feel for you, what f

s eh, lose a little more money and pay somebody to go round and kick them in the balls, may make you feel better knowing that they are also feeling the sting, but not all bad, if you have M600 money then you must be doing quite well and it may be fate that saved you from losing even more money on the M600.
Fun and Fast, well SJC's list is pretty good for that, but just a few more under 40k alternatives for you, cars that are also bearable for being used on the road.
Exige with supercharged KT20 engine, 320bhp (amazing handling, very raw and fast, not comfortable)
Exige with supercharged 2.3 duratec, 330bhp (same as above but with more mid range torque)
Lotus Europa (2.0 turbo) can easily be tuned to 350bhp (great handling, fast and suprisingly comfortable)
Porsche Cayman S (supercharged to 400bhp) great handling and performance in what is truly an everyday car.
All the above will be fun to drive but they all just seem to fall short af a Noble.
GTO3R/M400 (easily tuned to 500bhp) you know the rest.

I can build you a http://www.sdrsportscars.co.uk with a 450bhp engine if you like? Likely budget to come in at under £20K.

Sorry to hear that - always sends more than ripples when that happens.
RS4's are mental but not really a step up from the GTR probably. 40k and Noble - ti's hard unless you do the Cater/Atom/four wheels and a scaffold pole stuff.

Yes, it's a real pain. I'll keep the GTR so an RS4 would just be another "sensible wet weather car".RS4's are mental but not really a step up from the GTR probably. 40k and Noble - ti's hard unless you do the Cater/Atom/four wheels and a scaffold pole stuff.

WOrried about all the front suspension failures I hear about on the Satelite DIsh or has this been sorted?

Basically an Aerial Atom clone but with central driving position plus 2 rear seats (Mclaren style).
