I've been offered a TR by one of my FIL's clients. It's a 1988 LWB (built by Hooper) with some interesting features, such as a safe in the boot. It has recently had a full body restoration, including new panels, and new hydraulics front to rear, along with many other new parts.

The only issue is that none of the windows work. They worked when the car was sent away for restoration, and in the process something has happened to make all 4 stop working.

Is there any common fault that may be the reason? The current owner thinks that it's a simple case of the wiring being reinstalled incorrectly. He hasn't had the time or inclination to have it fixed, and as he doesn't use the car he has offered it to me for a very reasonable price.

Any thoughts or suggestions?

Sorry, unable to help with the windows, but interested to learn more about the car! Any photos?

check there are the two relays in each door for the motor -- one relay for going down, one for going up
