BMW to bring xDrive cars to UK
Discussion
Yay!
Sorry purists but I would f
king love and xDrive version of my 330i (ok it would need to be a 335i) - no more slithering around like a twonk whenever it's cold/wet/icy/snowy. Full power able to be deployed whenever I want it rather than whenever conditions allow
OP - any idea on timescales ?

x drive in the winter on summer tyres just means you'll go off the road at slightly higher speed than if the car were RWD. Nice to have the option but the main reason for buying a BMW is for the RWD handling. Why not just buy an Audi with Quattro. Ok BMW have slightly better engines, but the Current A4 is better looking than the E90 (particularly with that fussy facelifted bonnet
) and has a nicer interior.

AFAIK the winter package includes storage of the winter tyres in the summer if you have nowhere to put them during the summer.
Normal in Germany.I'm ordering and taking delivery of my new X5 on winter wheels and tyres.

Did you go for the xDrive5.0?
