Hi All,

I was a member at my local David Lloyd Club (Cheshire Oaks) a few years ago, i cancelled my membership after around two years as i did not have the time to use the club.

I am looking to join again on the Vantage membership and im wondering if anybody knows their monthly prices or round-abouts?

Many Thanks

Ben

I don't think they'll tell you the prices if you call, they'll just arrange for you to come down and have a tour and then have someone try and sell you the most expensive membership.

Is the Vantage one where you get access to the seperate sauna etc?

I really can't remember what it costs, but it's about £70ish for a full membership, then even more if you wanted a rackets membership, then even more if you wanted a the top membership. Think it's something like £110 for the top one.

It's a bit cheaper if you get a couple's membership, or a family one.

They will tell you the prices over the phone. Yes, they will *beg* you to come and take a tour - do it! DL are always doing offers, we got 'no joining fee' and August & September free if you sign up to a 12 month contract. We also paid in full for the 12 months (less the 2 free) and received a 10% discount for doing so. Forget how much it is, think it is £135 month as a couple, and then £7.50 for our daughter. Our club is excellent for children's activities.

Tip : go have a tour, give them your mobile phone number, tell them you will think about it, and over the next few weeks/month you will be bombarded with offers by text to your mobile wink

Worst I want to join a posh health club thread ever. Just call them or go on the website. It's quicker then posting a thread here and checking it often.

I pay £48.50 for David Lloyd Metro in Kingston.

The non metro clubs are about 70.

I pay for me and my g/f and it's £140ish including racket sports so BN is spot on.
They aren't the cheapest but everything is quality and if you use it enough it's a bargain.
We probably go between 40 to 60 times a month between us which makes it (breathless bit of mental math) about £3.50 to a fiver a pop, bloody good for everything that you get.
