Is it just me?

I watched it tonight and John Humphrys kept saying tweny/tweeny.

What he was saying was twenty - ie 20, missing the 'T' in the word.

Am I the only one that hates this?

All spelling/grammer/etc. cock ups in this post are due to red wine!

That's because the bulldog clip on the back of her head makes it difficult to speak...

I hate him giving the answers to passed questions in reverse order with the answer first.

Not a patch on Magnus.

:chuckle: hehe

MIssing the T is a bit like that horrid americanism innernet. This can mean something quite separate to the inTernet.

Don't get me started on sKedule rather than schedule. :grr:

Goes along with everyone these days replying in agreement to what someone else has said by starting their sentence with "no".

The all to prevalent "yeah, no" which isn't limited to Little Britain types. All sorts of intelligent people do it.

No "yeah", just the "no" starting the sentence.

Why does James May keep saying 'wuz' instead of 'was'?

I'm half way through watching an episode of "Coast" from last week. The bloke that invented Radar keeps talking about it being able to warn of "bummers".
