The kiss of death... Red Murcielago
Discussion
I've always heard of red on a lambo being referred to as the kiss of death. effects resale etc...
But today for the first time in 5 years I caught a glimpse of the only Murcielago in Ireland. Some of you may have seen it posted before when SteveIRL was deciding between it, a Diablo 6.0 and a Ford GT which he bought and is actually parked beside it here, along with Funky's Diablo.
In the metal it's very nice, the colour really surprised me.

I always thought red Countach's looked stunning.
Is this just because everyone associates red with Ferrari?
Do Yellow Ferrari's suffer the same fate because everyone associates yellow with Lamborghini?
I was thinking the same thing. Red was very common on Miuras, Countaches and Diablos, but rare on Murcielagos and Gallardos. I think the Murcielago looks fine in red.Is this just because everyone associates red with Ferrari?

It has nothing to do with ferrari or Lamborghini. The colour red use to be Italy's national racing colours back in the early days of racing. The UKs was green and the french was blue for example.Do Yellow Ferrari's suffer the same fate because everyone associates yellow with Lamborghini?
The district of Modena used yellow as its regional racing colour.
Had Lamborghini been racing during the golden age then they to would have been dressed in red.

I was in the red 360, noticed it was stickered up with "close protection security "stickers so had to look in, only to find two rather large guys staring back. I may have sped off a little
