ECU question

Anyone know if there is a way to reset the ECU (2.5 upgraded) back to factory settings without a computer? i.e Push a small pointy thing into a hole or something! My car's running like a pile at the moment with an air leak on the exhaust manifold and possibly other bits and bobs. Consequently, I think the lamda is messing with the mixtures. Have plans to get it sorted properly soon, but the tax man has priority unfortunatley. (he wants me to pay towards some duck houses or something!)

Nope, there's no "factory reset" button, especially as it sounds like its other factors affecting the running of the car. It will most likely recover once those issues are addressed?

Thank you Mike. The car will be off to Jetstream soon to be sorted properly. I guess I was looking for a quick fix to get by on!
