I tried waxing the car on Sunday for the first time!
Having bought (hopefully) all the right stuff (P21 etc) got to work on washing, pre-waxing and waxing.
Couldn't get "wax-on/wax-off" out of my head the whole time and was frankly knackered afterwards!
So, to the question...
I saw one of these electronic polishers in the motor factors (lookes like a hand-held floor polisher).
Has anyone tried one of these and can recommend purchase (or not) of such a thing?
Cheers

Yep, my Son uses one, cost about 20 quid and is OK for regular waxing/polishing. If a car has not been waxed for a while (year +) he uses elbow grease. His a part time car valeter. Believe it or not there is a knack to the electric polisher, you must not use to much polish or you will never get a decent shine, once you get the hang of it its great.
crankedup - thanks for the info. Seems that after reading Pies' post, I must be doing sommat wrong (that or I'm in worse shape than his 70 year old step Dad!

Pies said:I started to wonder whether I was waiting too long - and guess that's what the problem probably was - its just that it didn't seem to 'haze' much at all after applying the wax (cue Podie) so figured I wasn't waiting long enough! Further experimentation to be done once the tennis elbow has subsided
That P21S is so easy to use its ridiculous,my step father did his car yesterday and he's 70,
How are you using it, dont ait too long before wiping it off![]()
next wash should be just wash, dry then wax
