All you need is a car and some tape to stick the route diagram to your dash!
A Midget is a good choice - small and agile.
It's the ultimate "run anything" motorsport - I've done three this year and they've been brilliant
Tomorrow I'm doing an Autosolo - which is similar but a bit less technical, if you enjoy the Autotest you will enjoy Autosolos too.
Good Luck!!

Used to autotest a midget pump up rear tyres a bit if on hard surface, drop 'em a bit on grass.
Put some tape on the handbrake button to turn it into a "fly off"
If you get serious get a "twiddler" knob off a fork lift it'll make your steering quicker plus your left hand is free to use the handbrake.
Deffo have the course map in view but walk the course if you can.
Have fun. You will it's addictive!
