It was remapped in January by Area 52 when I put the actuators on, to be honest I have never managed to have a proper look at the boost guage whilst accelerating at a stupid rate of Knots so it may always have been like that.
From what you have just said, does that mean that you add the 2 boost pressures together?

Yes. Tux is running 0.5 each side hence 1bar im 0.7 and 1.5 bar.From what you have just said, does that mean that you add the 2 boost pressures together?

The ecu controls boost above .7bar you need the stiffer spring to get high boost, but you loose the ability to control boost below .7bar.
Andy and Gadgeroonie are correct - the boost is not the total of both actuators. The actuator has a rod attached to a diaphragm, with a spring retracting the rod. When you put pressure in the port, it pushes on the diaphragm against the spring - when it exceeds the spring pressure, the rod extends, opening the wastegate door. The pressure line from the manifold to the actuator port is routed through the boost solenoid, which regulates the amount of pressure sent to the diaphragm - that's how the ecu controls boost, and how you get more boost than the rating on the actuator.

My mistake then, was just when I over heard Skip and Trevor talking about getting more boost 1.5 bar they said i needed stronger actuators 0.7 each one. so I assumed wrongly that meant to achieve 1.5bar you needed a re map and that size. So can you get 1.5 bar boost with 0.4 actuators and just a re map? because I was told the best would be 0.8 hence my mistakeyou do not add the turbochargers together to get max boost

I may be wrong though

Just had the graphs back up on the Dyno Andy. You were running with a just over .8 bar on the dyno and Boost will often be slightly different in other gears, so you've probably got a very slight increase in boost there afforded by the less restrictive intercooler.
The difference is very small and nothing to be overly concerned about, but you know where we are if you want to give it a check on the Dyno?

The actuator can be affected by EGBP, (Exhaust Gas Back Pressure).I may be wrong though

If you monitored EGBP, its possible that at higher rpm, you might be seeing Boost creep, where the wastegate system is too small to evacuate all of the excess gas and boost will rise because of that. Also consider the wastegate penny doesn't just open completely at its rated pressure, it "starts" to open at that pressure and most only open partially anyway.
Ideally the actuator strength needs matching to the Turbo set-up and to what you are trying to achieve, giving consideration to the factors which can affect it?
