REPAINTED MURCI, FOR SALE P/H
Discussion
IS IT A CRIMINAL THING TO CHANGE THE ORIGINAL FACTORY COLOUR OFF SUCH A GREAT PEDEGREE SUPERRCAR, JUST CAME ACROSS ONE ON P/H FOR SALE 100K, THIS WAS A GREEN ONE ORIGINALY BUT REPAINTED IN BALOON WHITE, OK GREEN IS NOT EVERYBODYS CUP OFF TEA, I LUV IT THOUGH, BUT THIS CAR IF DONE RIGHT SHOULD BE ALL WHITE,BUT THE BOTTOM SKIRTING HAS BEEN PAINTED BLACK ,AND THE PRICE FOR SUCH A REPAINTED CAR IS STILL 100K, SHOULD IT BE CHEAPER I THINK SO. HAV A LOOK AND SEE, WHATS YOUR COMMENTS PLEASE
Nothing wrong with changing colour,my old 308 was orignally silver, that was changed to red, providing the respray is 'top notch',of which most are, should'nt de'value the price of any vehicle.
Cant see a problem, the green though is a bit 'sick' in my mind, again down to personal preference.
its a good price, mind yer, repair bills on these buggers are beyond belief.

You'll find the caps lock key on the left side of you keyboard around the middle row.
If I'd have owned this particular car, I'd have prefered it in verde ithica. That said white is the most popular colour for the later LP640 and it does suit the murci shape. That said, the half hearted black skirts don't work without the effect being carried onto the rear and front bumper areas (imo).
As for price, you don't need to worry about a car being too expensive in your view if you don't want it anyway! I doubt very much if the owner went to the hassle and expense to have it painted just so he could sell it cheaper.

Its a car at the end of the day, we bought these things to enjoy, not to get fixated with values

I saw that last night while searching through the classifieds. I like the Muric in white, but I preferred it before when it was lime green. What I don't understand is that it was up for £92k when it was green now a month or two later it's up for £100k? I'm sure a good respray is about £5-10k but I'm sorry a respray certainly doesn't add value to the car unless it was some absolutely horrific colour in the first place.

Holding a toy cow in front of Dougal. "Dougal, this cow is small" (Points out of the window.) Those ones are far away. Small...Far away.
