Dear Santa, i know im 28 and should be talking to you about presents for my children this xmas, but im going to be selfish and ask for something myself.
Since i can remember, i have been a Liverpool FC fan, i can vagely recollect growing up watching them win against near enough anybody, however, the past many years have brought nothing but a champions league, 2 awful managers, sceptic tank owners who are running the club ever near administration, and a new manager who seems intent on bringing half his god awful side with him.
Therefore, im wondering if you can fix it for me to see my beloved LFC become a top 4 team again, with a manager who isnt happy for second best and wont squander our money, owners who are prepared to bankroll the squad a little more than the winnings from friday nights gala bingo and a clear out of the dross who are not fit to wear the shirt.
I know it would be easier for you to wipe my memory and let me support a club who are buying trophys, but as im not a glory hunting blue or a fan who has never been to his teams ground, i dont want that.
so, Santa.......PLEASE PLEASE can you help us before our beloved club goes down the swanny and gets sold at a bonhams auction for 50p and a packet of earl grey tea bags.
