I've never been too into my watches, but was wandering about in Las Vegas today and dropped into a watch shop. I ended up leaving with one by a company called Reactor.
I was torn between 2. The following one because of the colour and ceramic construction.

But i ended up leaving with this one, a Reactor Photon, after the sales assistant threw one across the room onto the floor to prove how invincible they are. Impressive.

Seems like a nice watch, fits well, nice stitched leather strap which is perfect as it keeps the weight down, and a solid (as proven) steel piece with glowing markings, a scratch/shatter resistant surface and carbon fibre background. Not expensive either.
Just wondered if anyone else has seen this make, the sales assistant didn't think they were out in the UK yet?

Neither watches in your OP are my cup of tea, but it doesn't matter what I think! Congrats on the purchase
@CJ: I believe the entire range use Japanese quartz movements ...

Not my cup of tea - I don't get on with lugs as fussy as those - but if you paid a decent price for it and it floats your boat, then it's all good.
Quartz or mechanical?
Quartz.Quartz or mechanical?
I've never looked into watches much, besides drooling over the Rolex GMT Master II and Submariner, so literally just tried on 100 watches until i found some i liked. Most completely contrasting styles

It is pretty chunky, and i initially dismissed it, but kept coming back to it as i dismissed others, and the gf liked it.
I also liked the indestructible nature of design in the reactor watches, i guess its fair to say i was sold on that even though i work at a desk
