Resident Evil: Afterlife
Discussion
Disappointing.
I had really hoped it would be better than it was. The CGI was poor, some of the fights were just terrible, too much slow motion stuff, very little in the way of special 3D effects, etc.
Maybe I need to watch it again, but I don't think that will help me to like it much more.

I was not expecting that much of it to begin with, mainly due to all the £D hype in the adverts. Personally I don't think that is a way to sell a film to the audience, wow 3D makes up for everything.
So went and watched it with an open mind, not expecting a great deal except a bit of Mila + zombie action. I have to say I did enjoy it for many reasons, including the use of the 3D effect at points.
Ok, the story is not the greatest but it does link to the game quite closely. So it is a brain out film, but it did lack something.
Would I watch again? Yes, but only because I have an unlimited card.
Would I buy it on DVD? Yes, but only when £3 at Tesco in 6months.
6/10
