it was my first time there. Enjoyed the show especially when it went wrong in the agility section and they had ropes from all angles keeping the 90 the right way up.
Managed to get a ride in a series III around the car park, does the early defender have a totally different way of turning the front wheels, the set up of a series III makes me wonder if the jump from modern car to one of these is too far?

Glad you enjoyed the show. We have been going for many years and camped for a couple.
The Series 111 has leaf springs and a more basic steering box than the Defenders (or earlier 90s/110s). The 90/110 came out around 1984 I believe but didn't get the Defender name until 1991 when the 200TDi engine was introduced. All then had power steering. My 1991 Defender is worlds apart from the S3 I used to have in every way and quite nice to drive on the road - but not as good on long journeys as my Mondeo. I am quite happy driving 30 miles to a play day but would not have considered this in the S3!!!
