bonnet catches

On the end of the bonnet locking rods are some plastic bits that are breaking up,does anyone do ali ones??

I have ali ones on mine - I got them from Leven but I had to call them as they don't seem to be on the website (either then or now)

If I recall, I had to modify them slightly as the threads weren't deep enough for the Cerb locking rods, but it was fairly simple.

I'm lucky to have a skilled brother who lathed up some new ones for me as mine finally broke off at 140mph. He also saw that the tabs on the bonnet that the ends lock into only have a hole on one side of the metal so it is locked by just 3mm at most. He drilled through the other side too so the ends can lock in more securely and now the bonnet is firmly held in place. Also, put some grease on the ends and the grommets.
