Sorry Ben, we don't have a North American Sat. Nav. We only just bought a UK Tom Tom when we moved here a few months ago....

Hi Ben sorry can't help there. If you are renting a car it might be able to get one with a sat nav.

Cheers guys! Its more expensive to rent one through the carhire (~$90) co than it is to buy the map (£55) for my tomtom confused Hopefully i can find someone who is a bit more reasonable.....

Check out e-bay, a tomtom with us maps sold for about £15 the other week.

When we went, if you hired the satnav they ley you have free child seats which we would otherwise have had to pay $60 to hire so it made sense. The Garmin they use is very good though.
