is the gearstick position too far back?

is the gearstick position in the ideal position - does your hand fall naturally onto the gearknob? or do you find you have to bend your arm just that bit more to locate it?

If not - how far (and which way) should it be moved to be in that sweet spot? - although I cannot see anyone with arms wanting it further back

Its too far back, though i dont think it will go forward enough to be right, without hitting the dash, but a bit would help.

I think it is a touch too far back, but its probably the best compromise you can come up with - if you make the TVR adaption longer don't forget it also increases / decreases the height depending whether you are in odd or even numbered gears.

Isn't that the wrong way Norm - it moves the gearstick back - we need to go forward.

was gonna suggest turning it round but thats silly, don't want one forward and five reverse gears

I thought that but didn't want to put it in print

but it does seem that I may be correct in that it would help if it were a little forward even 25mm and it looks like I will be able to do that with the MT75
