Thread started early this time before some fools turns up half way into the program telling us its on!

"Documentary series following the traffic police as they enforce the law on Britain's roads. A dangerous police chase through the streets of Swansea in the middle of the afternoon ends in carnage; to the surprise of the traffic cops the driver pulled out of the wreckage of the crashed stolen car is * ********."

I have blanked a bit out of the summary so as not to spoil the surprise. lol

Is this a new ep? Doesn't indicate in my TV guide but is unusual to be on so late?

Think they budged it right a bit due to some of the content.
OK, so it's not blood and guts violence but nicking cars is hardly ideal family viewing (unless your name begins in Scum and ends in Bag)
Are all Welsh wimmin that mental?

They allow a margin for error. Not sure if it's still case but you used to be able to ask for a blood test if it was borderline (plus the margin).

There is a plan to switch to using the roadside reading in court.

I wonder how she would have performed if they'd done a field impairment test though!

I came here to ask the same, seems like a 'you failed, but we let you off anyway'.

What a great ep, It was all Hot Fuzz for me.
Everybody knew everybody, cops calling crims by nicknames.
Kicking doors in, smashing windows with fists, climbing walls and windows.
Having a good old laugh in the cop shop and letting the woman off.
Most dont get charged.

And whats with the G4S blokes running the custody checks?

I did notice the Volvo/BMW Slip. They have done a few other episodes in South Wales where Jamie Theakston appears to have completely made up the road names. It was a really good episode made me smile most the way through because that is what policing is like up there. The people are just like that too!

At least you don't have to pay her fine - she didn't get one!

I thought generally the penalties were all extremely light. OK, no point in fining these people, but they didn't get much else either.
