MK1 Focus Problem!

Hey guys,

The boot on my Focus won't latch, and as a result the light in the back won't go out! Is this likely to run down my battery over a couple of days?

Should I take the bulb out, or disconnect the battery? I can't get it looked at for a while!

Take the bulb out which will stop the battery going flat, but you might have a prob with water getting in the boot if its not closing properly.

It closes but the latch doesn't engage. POS.

Will it be safe to drive to the mechanics? I don't plan on rallying it... Is there an easy way to wedge it shut? Don't think I've got any bungees...
