Restaurant / bars Stratford Upon Avon

Morning all,

As per title - off to Stratford Upon Avon on Saturday for joint B'Day celebrations with wifey. We are staying in the centre of town and I was hoping for good recommendations for nice bars / restaurants. Someone I know said Thai Boathouse was nice....

We stayed here http://www.macdonaldhotels.co.uk/alvestonmanor/ two years ago, they served a very nice afternoon tea and the cigar lounge was lovely.

Thai Boathouse was ok last time I went.
Ripples next door is a very good Chinese Buffet, food has always been excellent and vast choice.
Thespians is good for an Indian
Baraset Barn is excellent if you dont mind driving a couple of miles out of Stratford
College Arms Lower Quinton also excellent.
Lambs Restaurant.

Most you will have to book as they get very popular.
