Hi Can someone help I am looking for a RS focus engine and transmission (95KM) from a 2009 car any idea on cost and wheres the best place to get one.Regards Nigel 01245 401403

Depends what you're looking to spend! Think you will be lucky to find second hand, last & only one i've ever seen was e-bay a few months ago & that went for £4.5k IIRC! Failing e-bay, specialist RS breakers or main dealer for brand new!

It not more cost effective to get an early ST engine and err...tune it a little?

Enough changes on the RS version ( pistons, cams, turbocharger, plasma coated liners to avoid the cracking issue seen on STs) to interest me as a base for a race engine if the intention is to 'fit and forget'.
