Car booked.

Phone rings.

Answer phone ... line is dead.

Look outside ... no car waiting.

Phone rings again.

Answer phone again ... line is dead.

Look outside again ... no car waiting.

Wait ten minutes ... and call to enquire.

... and get the ... "car waited for you but you didn't show" patter.

Not the first time ... and indeed, not the second.

Not going to make that mistake again.

Beware if the arrival of a taxi is important to your day.

Cheers,

Eric mad

I used to work for ComCab in one of the call centres here in Edinburgh for Edinburgh bookings.

Trust me when I say all they're interested in is making money from the drivers subs and couldn't give a st about you, the customer.

yeah ive not had many good experiences with comcabs, they regularly used to not turn up when I was working offshore and the company booked them to take me to the airport.

another one i had last year was rang up from the flat to go to the airport,

Me - an i have a taxi to the airport please
Comcab - no we will not pick up from this address as you booked a taxi before and never showed up.
me - Eh? when was this
comcab - september xth
Me - but i was in singapore then, no wonder i never showed up for a taxi i never phoned up for! you obviously have it wrong.

That a big company for you, Comfortdelgro own Com Cabs & as mentioned they're sole priority is getting money out the cab owners.

Better sticking to a locally owned & run co-operative / company who trade on their reputation.
