VW LT35

BIL needs new fuel injectors in VW LT35 2.8 tdi .

he already paid £250 for VW dealer "to send to specialist for test"

VW have come back saying it needs 4 new injectors at £330 each, plus £300 fitting.

thats seems bloody expensive?

im struggling to find any online, so thats the first port of call.

also what kinda work is involved, in terms of labour?

Volvo 700 and 900 series had 6 cylinder volkswagen Turbo diesels in them - might be the same injectors? - you could buy the whole car for the price of the injectors. I also believe 240 volvo's had the non turbo 2.8 VW diesel engine in them

Unless of course its a 97 onwards version in which case they had 5 cylinder engines which I believe were the same as some VW Transporter models

Get them reconditioned. dont bother with the VW dealers on this they will just want to fit new parts regardless.

There are many companies arround but i use these.
