Track knowledge is far more important there than any other. It's not your car persay. As a stripped out Golf mk3 GTi wil be faster with far less power if the driver knows where to keep it buried and where to lift and turn.

Don't worry, 140bhp of BMW E30 is even worse Still very enjoyable, and surprised some people in the corners!

I was with a chap in a 95bhp Fiesta Zetec that had been several times and he was faster than me for most of the day than me in my R26.R
