£23.99 (debited whenever your renewal is due), and you get a Spartan helmet for your avatar too.

Does that compare favourably to these voucher code sites?

its a very very good price

small print does state u have to autorenew for another year at the new price

but you can cancel auto renew with a phone call if i'm not mistaken

I've just taken used that offer, it seemed very good.
I did wonder about the autorenew, but at that price I'm not too worried!

I got the error message and then an email thanking me for changing to the new membership.
Check your spam just incase.

I've taken it up as well. So far as I can make out it seems that once your current subscription has run out they charge a year at £23.99 and when that runs out it's set to auto-renew at whatever the price is at the time. Fairly sure auto-renew can be cancelled at any time.

It will renew at the offer price when your membership is up, they don't take the money until then.

I was a little surprised to find the email!

I presume the autorenew will indeed go back to the 'normal' price (whatever that is in 12 months) come the end of this offer.
I guess it'll just be a case of hunting out another deal then.

I have to say, I'm glad MS have done this; it's a nice offer!

yeah my nephew asked me to buy him the 12+2 halo reach one for 33 and now this is out. might send that one back.
