Hi, I have a Omega Planet Ocean that is less than twelve months old has been worn about half that time as I rotate it with my other watches, the problem I have is with the rubber strap which has worn through on the sides the rubber coating has stared peeling off.

I bought the watch from Crouch in Cardiff this is the second Omega from them and they have always given me good service, however now they tell me that Omega will not replace the strap as they see it as wear and tear, I’m not happy, and not fit for the purpose comes to mind, what do you guys think

Discussed many many times - Straps don't last very long & "branded" straps are a complete rip off.

Buy yourself a nice after market strap, swap the Omega buckle & enjoy the watch.

Isn't that a leather strap pictured?

As said, straps wear out, you were particularly unlucky if you got less than 6 months wear out of it though. Leather straps tend to last at least 12 months.

This is why bracelets are made of win wink
