Hi,

I have this watch:

http://www.hsamuel.co.uk/webstore/d/5733308/police...

Now i appreciate its not the worlds best watch but it does the job and it has a fair bit of sentimental value. Unfortunately one of the leather loops has perished which means the strap flaps around, consequently i have stopped wearing it.

Does anyone know where i can get a genuine replacement? I've done a fair bit of googling and not come up with anything.

Thank you please.

I had excellent service from http://www.watchobsession.co.uk/ (bought a Hirsch strap, it had the wrong colour buckle (gold instead of silver), offered to send it back, was told "don't do that, we'll send you another buckle" and got a buckle with a spring bar tool FOC - cheers to Gary for good, timely communication) and I've heard good things about http://www.watchworx.co.uk/ too.

Thanks, i'll have a proper look when i get home.

Forgive my ignorance but are straps a standard fit?

I was looking for police watch strap to be sure, but i suppose if they're a standard size it will make my quest a bit easier.

All you need to do is measure the width of the strap were it is fixed to the watch head. Most watches have 20 or 22mm lugs.

yes Very simple and cheap to replace. Measure the width and order one online.

on his watch and it's pretty good.
