The good old Daily Mail strikes again

Just flicking through the paper this morning and came across this hilarious article:

What a bunch of holier-than-thou trs they are, those people are blatantly stuck in traffic so are they suggesting that drivers should keep both hands glued to the wheel and only look forwards, even if stationary in traffic?

Also, that last line really pissed me off, "The culprits captured by the Mail were all van and lorry drivers – reinforcing a well-established stereotype – and they were all men, perhaps reinforcing another one". Was this actually written by an adult? s!

That whole 'men are all like this, women are all like that' blanket stereotyping really winds me up, especially when there's pseudo-scientific bks attached to it to try and make it 'legitimate'. Whenever a report pops up saying 'men's brains are primitively hardwired to be like this' I don't recognise myself in it at all.

Some of those pictures are ridiculous. One person is wiping his face, which clearly is going to result in deaths, and another person has the audacity to be having a drink, the absolute crime of the century.

I see all sorts of unbelievable behaviour whist driving around. Texting while driving is a pet hate. But this article appears to show people stuck in traffic, so where is the story?

They have zoomed right in on the people and purposefully cut out the rest of the picture which shows the traffic jam.

THough as far as I am concerned, OP, you have no right to moan if you buy that paper.

Well the blue VW looks to be in heavy traffic, so the bloke wiping his hands on his face is likely to lead to massive destruction at 20mph or so!

As these are clearly all taken in stationary traffic, they've got a point about the Bus driver picture... that is just plain wrong! Nobody should be subjected to that fat hairy arse at any time, let alone when they are trapped in the middle lane with nowhere to escape to!
