Caterham Bypass, another serious accident..

Anyone else sitting here http://maps.google.co.uk/maps?f=q&source=s_q&a... while they cut people out of their cars again this am?
I've been using this road as part of my commute for a year now and seen 4 big accidents in this exact same spot (there's flowers placed on the central reservation regularly so I guess fatal), each with multiple cars I believe. All have been big smashes, i.e. the cars are totalled. This morning there was a red Focus that was very mangled and a grey/blue focus that looked better off.
I don't get what the issue is with this corner, it's a 50mph zone, coming up hill off a roundabout and the corner isn't that sharp. It does have a few bumps but nothing that would really unsettle a car that much. You can (allegedly) go round these at 70 no problem.
Anyone got any ideas on why it's such an accident blackspot?
PS, these have not been on icy days and this am was dry.
