Top Gear took revenge on Perry/Black Stig by shooting him off an aircraft carrier to the character's 'death'
In this thread, declare what you think TG will do in the new series with regards to revenge on Stig and replacing Stig so that when it happens you can refer back and genuinely says TOLD YOU SO (or more likely, read back and see how wrong you were)
My guess for the kick off:
Revenge: White Stig is unmasked and exposed as someone who is notoriously not good at driving, perhaps Jimmy Carr or that awful Mo woman off that driving school program.
Replaced by: Green Stig, some kind of piss take towards green vehicles and environmentals

This close to Christmas? White Stig 'aint going nowhere. There's too many White Stig shower gels/RC cars/Xmas cards etc winging their way to retailers to get a new Stig in.
My best guess is that the "some say..." preamble for the entire series will be dispariging remarks about drivers from Bristol, and that if a new Stig is introduced it won't be until the new year.

On the subject of merchandise, the long awaited Gran Turismo 5 is coming out in Nov and one of the big features is the TG test track and White Stig! Imagine if the game that took 5 years to develop is out of date before it is released!! Of course that isn't the BBC's problem as such but along with the previous comment about merchandise, perhaps the Stig image is too iconic to be dropped just like that.

They will delay GT5 for another 6 months to get Green Stig in. 
I think it will be some kind of Dr Who-esque regeneration.

Ben Collins is already working for LBS Clampers in Sarfend, evidenced by the recent watchdod Watchdog (even) programme. He's been eating a few too many pies and got a tattoo or two but he definitely identified himself as Ben Collins.
