Sounds like a bit of jealousy from the OP. Go on admit it .. you'd acutally like to hang out with Islingtonistas and wanted to be part of their conversation?

I enjoyed the company of a similar twerp on the plane back from Manchester yesterday; I'll happily talk to anyone on a plane to alleviate the boredom. I was in jeans and trainers with a Cornwell novel for amusement, so I think he may have possibly misjudged my skills of bullst perception.

He banged on about some MBO he was brokering worth "couple of hundred million" and about how he was "the deal-maker for his firm" for a bit, then went quiet when I asked him why he was sat up back of an deserted scabby old BA 737 at 9 o'clock in the evening.

The final nail in his ego's coffin was the Purser recognised me from the red-eye flight that morning (I'd been chatting her up), made a big fuss of me, and said I could move to the front if I wanted.

Too good an opportunity to miss. It took all my willpower to not give him a Top Gear 'LOSER' forehead L as I vacated his company.
