Monkey Japanese car traders on PH

Just a little hint to you part time traders out there. A potential buyer with thousands to spend might want to actually know something about the cars history. For the record this does not constitute an advert:


Model XYZ
Cloth seats
Spoiler
Sticker on the back
Four wheels


Now I'm sure most of you traders are far too busy working full time in Carphone Warehouse to write a proper advert. However it might be worth taking an evening away from the Playstation to actually put some effort in. Perhaps list the really basic stuff:


UK or JDM supplied
Mileage: in miles
Number of owners in total
The last time it was serviced: what was done and where
The rest of the service history dates and locations
MOT certificate details
HPI clearance details


The avoidance of such details means I automatically assume it's been stolen abroad, imported, clocked, never serviced, on it's last legs, marked up a few grand to be punted on to a clueless idiot. I have now given up looking at Japanese cars on Piston Heads. In future it might be an idea for PH to force traders to fill in such information on a form before the advert is submitted. If information is missing the advert is not published. It's not hard is it.
