well i decided that i should stop just lurking and acually get round to selling my soul the ph devil,
looking forward to being able to post some of my rants and views over time now and maybe even get some advise on my next car now the other half has passed her test a full year and is off the r plate stage.(i live in n.ireland)
now i have seen a nice alfa gt with a 150 derv engine in it,at the right price but i really dont know what the alfa derv engines are like, econemy, reliabity, performance wise and are the gt's acually any good to live with on a day to day basis. we have no kids so a family car is not needed but do need a bit of space to take the inlaw to the shops on a saturdays so a 2 seater is out.

I've had a lot of proper Minis too, plus the occasional Metro.

You seem to like your 205 GTi's, no thoughts on getting a newer Peugeot equivalent then?

the problem with the newer pugs is that to me, they lack that we bit of soul that they used to excel in.
