Had the car ages, finally bothered to make a thread for it. It's a 1990 318i, my age doesn't permit me to have a straight 6 hehe

When I first got it.

Once I had got it home.

About a month later some chavs on mopeds tipped paintstripper over it while I was gone, along with about 10 other cars.

(If I ever find you I am going tie you to an anvil and toss you into a lake.)

Decided to clean the sides and the roof as being parked under a tree had made it look like it was abandoned. hehe

I then decided to get a replacement bonnet... they said I would never get it in the Golf, THEY SAID IT WOULD NEVER WORK!

Ended up taking 4 of us to replace the bonnet, 2 of us to hold it in place while the other 2 screwed everything back on, pain in the arse!

But here it is with a shiny un-ruined bonnet.. biggrin Still needs the badge sticking back on.

Still a fair bit of work needed to the bodywork, but it's getting there. smile

Nice motor. A friend of mine has the 2.5 litre straight 6 version sitting in a garage in bits just waiting to be put back together, wish he would get his act together!

Nice. I find myself wanting to sell my Renault to buy an E30 or an E36.

A nice E30 325i Sport or E36 328i Sport

Had 3 of these, they are such fun cars to drive, tail happy, you can see all 4 corners and just so predictable. Drift, track or rallye, they'll do the lot

Yeah I would be in jail now if I found whoever did it, mine is the only car that is still around out of the ones that were vandalised, the rest were all taken away and crushed by the insurance companies I presume.

It's the A4067 in the Brecon Beacons

That's none seriously cool motor sir! Excellent choice of retro usability. I really must tick this box at some point, I've been putting it off far too long.

I recently got my self an E30 318is (which has a thread running atm wink) that i love, yours is looking good. You on E30zone? if not i recommend it, its an excellent resource for E30's.
I just turned 21 and i found the insurance for a 325i abit prohibitive aswell frown.

E30zone is the best place for you mate!!!
E30 325 sport with a m52b28 is the ultimate e30 - of course other than an M3.

Some more pics! (phone camera quality goodness)

(Yes the arches need sorting)

I'm wondering what to do with it now, in typical E30 fashion, it has now sprung a petrol leak from the engine somewhere. Hoping it's just a hose. The 4pot engine is pretty tappy, debating whether to buy a 325i lump & box and stick them in instead.
hehe
