Apologies if this has been covered elsewhere, I can't search on my blackberrry.

I've just spotted a mention in the Goodwood- who's's going thread of a BRM tribute? Is this true, v16's and all?

Any more details?

Thanks

Yes Mate should be about 40 BRM's.....see below:

This year’s Revival celebrates 60 years since that first win at Goodwood, with the world’s largest ever gathering of BRM cars. With up to 40 of the known 53 BRMs still in existence on the grid at Goodwood, highlights will include the infamous BRM V16 MK 1 of 1950, the 1953 V16 P30 MK 2, Type 25, P48, P261, P153 and the final P207 of 1977

And if you can't wait there are some great clips on utube:

That is great news, I've wanted to hear that engine in real life for most of my days!

V16 ran today but they are not stressing it much so you may be disappointed by it. The H16 sounds great too.

I thought the tribute parade yesterday was terrific, but they all sounded like they just weren't getting on the cam and were a little hesitant and rough sounding , at least from where I was standing. (just after the chicane).

On the other hand I was lucky enough to be in the paddock as they were warming up and leaving for the assemble area. What a treat, and LOTS of prople with fingers in ears
