tune resister

bought a fault code reader
only fault showing is tune resisterout of range
any photos and where to find

It's in the horrible mess in the passenger footwell.



If you have cats it should be a "white" one, 3900 Ohm if you don't have cats it should be a "green" one 470 Ohm

Tinks, I purchased one of these from Maplin for about 49p I recall.

found it taken off ,will get a new 1 to see if it helps

got a new 1 , still show it has a fault on the code reader
code 21 tune resistor out of range
any thing else i can do, wiggled all the wires/checked

Not sure if it's the same as on my other car, but did you clear the fault codes & get it to re-check?
(Sorry if I'm teaching you to suck eggs here, but better to be check eh)
