Hi there,

Fixed my passenger door lock, then I noticed that one of the exhausts was not aligned, on further inspection the back box pipe is now loose from the exhaust pipe leading from the cats.

Looking at the exhaust pipes, whilst the car was on the ramp they are now corroded and will need replacing. Can anyone tell me the cost of getting the pipes from the cats to the back boxes replaced? And where I would go to?

The back boxes themselves look okay and are not corroded, I take these wont have to be replaced?

Any advice would be welcome...

Jimbo.

Sounds to me like your car's asking you to fit some sports pipes.

Might be wrong here but when I've seen back boxes off a car the pipes leading to the cats are part of the back box (as are the tips the other side), all welded together.

Speak to Peninsula, they make their own custom sports pipes and always have them in stock.

Just taken another look, one of the back boxes has been squashed/bent and will also need replacing.

Therefore it looks like I'm after a set of pipes from the cats to the back... thoughts on costs/suppliers?

Try these..by all accounts they supply many of the main dealers, so dealing direct they should be cheaper...they are in the southeast as well! www.actproducts.co.uk/silencing.php
