Cabin breezes!

As the days get cooler, I have a couple of longer trips coming up in the Cerb, and want to get the unauthorised (!) ventilation eradicated.
I know that there's a suggestion to block the vents under the indicators, but:
a) I don't understand how that helps (despite searching), and
b) where else should I look for routes in to the cabin?

a) It helps because that's how air gets into the inner wing and it's from the inner wing that the cabin ventilation is drawn. Blocking the drivers side in particular reduces the cold air being forced in at motorway speeds and hence the icy draft around the drivers knees. Though to be honest I have never found it particularly effective myself.
b) That's about it really apart from doors and windows.

I tried blocking my driver's side hole up and it made no difference to the knee-freezing blast. Every year I think about doing something about it and just as I can take it no more, the weather warms up again. b) That's about it really apart from doors and windows.
You gotta love TVRs!all summer my cold fan system has failed to work i finnaly found the fault having tested every component fan motor and rewiring it, to find it was a loose connection into the control box in the passange foot well!
Now your all saying it gets too cold in the winter i wish i hadn't bothered LOL
That said in the proccess i found there was also a draft from the emergency door release?
a draft that all summer has been a blessing.
as for sealing it back up??? but the cold air system on mine has an organ shapped splitter under the stearing wheel can't you block it off there?
on mine i dont think that would work as the motor box has had a vent sized whole drilled in it but sealed back up with packing tape??

If you look up on the driver side footwell, near to where the water temp capilliary tube exits, you may see a big hole about 20mm diameter. Cover it up with a price of Duct tape
You beat me to it, I was about to say to check this one as well.I only found that by mistake a couple of weeks ago so hopefully this winter I'll be a bit warmer.
