E39 OBC now reading in German..

Anyone know how to get the OBC messages to show in English rather than German? I can't seem to find an option via the nav screen (or otherwise) to change the language. Nav/info screen still shows in English, but not the OBC <scratching head smiley>

Thought that was funny when it happened... in the E34 you hold the stalk button in while twiddling the ignition key for a while...looks to be similar if more complicated with the E39:

Cure was to clear all my usual bits on info, memorise, power down/up then re-programme all the info I want again and then re-memorise. HAL back to speaking the Queens best once again.
