Recomend me a wheel for my Xbox

To the PH gamer masses...
Particularly as F1 will be dropping on the mat shortly, I thought I might invest in a steering wheel for my Xbox. Budget isn't massive, so we are not talking a 'dogs danglies' wheel, but equally I want to be worth buying and something I will use. My set up at home means that the wheel can't attach to a desk, but if required I could fix something up to the Ikea chair that I sit on to play, and attach it to that.
So, what model would you suggest? If you know a rough price, that would be great, but I'm sure Google can help me out later.

i use the official MS wheel with force feedback - its awesome [Forza 3]
you can really 'feel' the car, hit a curb in anything really fast/hard setup and be prepared have the wheel wrenched out of your hands and the car pirouette down the track
if you take the power lead out it will return to a std console wheel [batteries], so no feedback.. you may be faster round the track as your not fighting the car/curbs/torque steer etc but you definately lose the fun factor.

+1, its definately slower using the wheel, however much more fun.
i think using a controller also gives you aided steering assist, where the wheel has none.
eg mugello long is by far my fave track - absolutely love it but a long practise session (only car out there was me), ive done the first 5 laps on the controller, all nice and fast/consistent, switching to the wheel the next 15 laps i just could not get close to my time, my best was about 1 second off the pace but that was right on the edge - really pushing it. I was nowhere near consistent in my laptimes due to having to push it more and more to get close.. which invariably meant a fair few spins/lost time with wheels on the grass etc... i gave up trying to beat my time after about 22 laps
If i play with the wheel im 4th 5th 6th, with the same racers (friends) if i get bored of being whipped and want to be competitve ill switch to the controller where ill more than likely finish on the podium.. i tend to play with the wheel the most though, its just too much fun.. nothing like sitting in a ferrari, surround sound cranked up and getting into a bit of oppo lock on your fave tracks
