had a great week thanks to Mr Yellowshed ,picked up my mountune pistons and rods ect for my winter rebuild !! plan is a little different as im going to go for mega revs but lowish torque levels (420lbft max) should be interesting !!! im almost looking forward to winter !!! :-)

Are those the same as the M400 or further upgraded. What revs are you planning to run?

I wish I had the bottle to pull mine apart.

lol only you would notice such a thing devil, i personally like the choice of colours for the decor, green walls and salmon carpets, the colour combo of all new build houses, hence the planed door smile

The STD rods are great so don't worry !! They are forged mountune pistons with a dish top so the swish pattern is better , the gudgeon pin is offset for a longer Rod , was going to go the M400 piston route but a oppertunity came up which I could not miss !!
Don't want to go too radical on the cam so not going to go too mad but thinking 7800 to 8000 peak this is what Steve and Adrian run but I don't need masses of torque , going to be fun although I have got to tell the good lady that the dinning room has got to be turned into a engine workshop !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I'm envious! Building engines is my favorite part of working on cars. One question: what is the highest RPM we can reach with the MBE box? I see that my tables reach 8000, but can the ECU take the engine RPM higher than that?
