Giulietta Review
Discussion
I'm slightly confused by:
[quote=story]the Cloverleaf is too restrained, too refined and a touch too solid in its responses to be the hot hatchback we might like it to be. It feels more the compact grand tourer, which is fine in itself but disappointing to the enthusiast expecting more Alfa fizz.
Which is where the 1.4 MultiAir (from £19,495) comes in, and why I'm particularly pleased to have that model to try. [/quote[
So the tester hasn't actually driven the Cloverleaf then?

It's a fair review of the 1.4 - I demo-ed one a few weeks ago and it seemed a lot nicer than the disappointing Mito and the 1.4 multi-air engine was very impressive. A bit of torque steer on bumpy b-roads and I'd have liked to try the sports suspension equipped 1.4 but the only serious omission was the lack of a clutch rest.
