Zonda F in Yosemite National Park

Hi all

I'm currently over in California on a road trip round all the usual places. Whilst driving in Yosemite Park today I came across a fleet of British registered cars: a Zonda F (reg no. f 20NDA) and two Bentleys.

Anyone got any idea why they would be over here? Any story behind them?

Awesome! I would love to something like that, and it wouldn't even have to be in something as extravagant as a Zonda! One day...

You see it quite a bit (not the zonda, the uk plates) i live in a canadian ski resort and occasionally see uk plated stuff, but see a LOT of german plated campers, followed by belgian stuff, kiwi, saw an italian plated ferrari at the end of last year. Ditto for down in the states, saw a german plated tourbus in california. You get quite a lot of overlanders doing the states/canada. I overtook this the other day, driving between vancouver and whistler - www.overthehorizon.net

However, zonda in yosemite, i got done for speeding there, the speed limits were rediculously low, must be driving that guy mental!

I love the idea of having your uk car in a foreign country. I'd have loved to have my crappy bmw from home here in the winter, equiped with studded tyres it'd have been a hell of a lot of fun!

Top Gear? They ARE in the states! Perhaps the other team is shooting artsy shots, the kind which doesn't require the trio?

It did cross my mind, but there certainly were no signs of a film crew.

I don’t believe it, that guy is living my dream life. Not only does he have a Zonda, but he got to drive up the hill at Goodwood this year and now he has taken it on an American road trip which are two of the things I currently have listed on things I must do before I die.

All I can say is well done that chap and I don’t hate you too much....
