Ferrets and/or Shooting

Hi there

Put this is TV&S as well as here as the location is in between the 2 areas

Just wondering if anyone on here has some ferrets, and or FAC air rifle or FAC Rifle or all of these?

I have a rabbiting job that has a large paddock with warrens all around it so if anyone is interested in some sport, will save me doing them all myself

Please let me know on here if you have the above or are interested its near Godalming

I would hardly call culling defenceless animals a sport.

Rabbits are a pest that cause a lot of damage, plus if you have an outbreak of mixamatosis, they need to be culled to stop further spread and to end their suffering.

Plus, rabbit tastes lovely.

Thats all very well, but i come on hear to read about cars, not read about the slaughter of animals. Call me soft if you like but being an animal lover its not really what i want to read about first thing in the morning.

Sorry if i have caused offence, it was not my intention, but honestly what did you think a ferret and shooting topic would be about??


This field used to house a race house but now is at a very expensive horse hospital as it busted it knee in a rabbit hole, also about 50-60% of the population do have mixi, some are very bad. so you can see the reason why they want them gone.

Very true. My weakness is animals. I just don't understand how anyone could kill one. I couldn't. I would rather go chav hunting.

Whilst my view on the former differs from yours (though I wouldn't dream of trying to invalidate your opinion) (Even though it means you're a smelly hippy ) - you'll get no argument from me on the latter point!

As would most people, but bunny hunting is legal, chav hunting isn't.
