i had to get rid of the capristo that was on the car when i bought it. tbh i was nervous, my previous f car was a 348 on a standard and i stuck a tubi on it asap. and so it was with some trepidation that i left verdi's earlier this week. what a suprise..car sounds great, nice and stealthy around town and still has a howl when pressing. btw. if you are at verdi's, beg karl for a spin in his sierra...brutal brutal car, i laughed so much i was crying...

Must have been you i saw there today then. Southall High St. sounded like an F1 racetrack when you left!

I agree standard is better, it just sounds OTT with a capristo and the noise doesn't match the performance - you expect an F1 car to come past

I have always thought that a Capristo level one was adequate for a 355. I have always found the level 3 to much for the performance of the car.
Regarding the so called F1 sound. If anyone has ever heard a real f1 car, the Capristo sounds nothing like one. It sounds unmistakably like a flat plane cranked Ferrari set up.
Mind you, old age comes to us all, you could always turn ya hearing aids down hehe

yep. save for the fact the thing was becoming a real pain in the backside for the patient's at my hospital, i was waking entire wards up. i just wished it didnt have to do it's thing when accelerating at modest speeds during the morning commute and that's what really clinched it for me. standard is perfect.

Say, Doc, which branch of medicine do you specialise in? I am guessing respiratory medicine.

Karl's sierra is a 1 of 500 RS500 Cosworth with a 550bhp/550 Nm torque engine. 190mph top speed, 0-100mph in under 8sec, i beleive he has spent approx 80k on the car over the years(20)
It is a very 'sorted' and awesome car.smokin
Mid range the car is mind blowing fast.

You need their switchable ECU, it's perfect for this. Loud when you want it quiet when not.

Had a ride in Verdi's Cosworth.
The power is immense, and the torque is phenomenal

Stunning ride!
